Dimensional requirements for biomass fluidized bed boiler fuel
The fluidized bed has strict requirements for the size of fuel particles entering the furnace, so a series of pre-treatments such as screening and crushing of biomass are required to homogenize its size and condition, in order to ensure the normal fluidization of biomass fuel. For biomass with small specific weight, loose structure, and poor heat storage capacity such as rice husks and sawdust, it is necessary to continuously add quartz sand and other materials to maintain the required heat storage bed material for normal combustion. The biomass fly ash generated after combustion is hard, easy to wear the heating surface of the boiler, and the ash mixed with quartz sand and other bed materials is difficult to comprehensively utilize. The operating costs are also relatively high.
